How It Started

It started in a Surrey, BC home with two dogs, three kids, and a hallway that never stayed clean. Every mat we tried either slid around, soaked through in minutes, or fell apart after a few washes.
We couldn't find a mat that actually did what it promised — so we decided to build one ourselves. We spent months researching microfibre technology, testing different fibre densities, and working with manufacturers to get the construction right.
The result was Magic Mat — a mat engineered from the ground up to trap dirt, absorb moisture, and hold up through years of Canadian winters, muddy dogs, and busy families.
